About Assai

At Assai, we provide transparency and control in complex, asset heavy industries. Our AI powered engineering data platform supports teams across the entire asset lifecycle, from design and construction to operation and decommissioning. It creates a single source of truth for engineering documents and data.

With Assai, clients can unlock, integrate, enrich, and control their technical information, enabling better decisions, faster execution, and stronger project outcomes. We help global leaders in energy, utilities, petrochemicals, and other asset-heavy industries save time, reduce risk, and stay fully in control of their projects and operations.

Assai brings clarity to complexity.

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, analytical, and process-driven Sales Operations Specialist to join our growing commercial team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for optimizing sales processes, tools, and data to improve the productivity and effectiveness of our sales organization. You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to ensure smooth pipeline management, reliable reporting, and operational efficiency.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), this role will support both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations, enabling our sales team to focus on selling while you help streamline and scale our go-to-market engine. You’ll play a key role in CRM optimization, sales forecasting, lead routing, performance reporting, and the implementation of sales tools and automation, including AI-enabled platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Process Optimization: Maintain and improve sales workflows, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and alignment across the funnel.

  • CRM Management: Ensure Salesforce is used effectively, including data integrity, reporting, and dashboard creation.

  • Performance Reporting & Analytics: Track KPIs across the sales funnel, analyze trends, and deliver actionable insights to Sales Leadership.

  • Sales Tool Management: Support the implementation, training, and adoption of tools such as Apollo, Drift, or Outreach.

  • Lead Management: Own the operational side of lead routing, scoring, and handover, ensuring leads are followed up efficiently and consistently.

  • Forecasting Support: Assist Sales in building accurate pipeline forecasts through standardized methodologies and tooling.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing on lead quality and conversion, and with Finance on quota and compensation tracking.

  • Sales Enablement: Identify process gaps, create documentation, and provide ongoing support and training to improve sales execution.

Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a love for improving systems and processes.

  • Excellent command of CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and sales engagement tools.

  • Proven ability to use data to drive decisions and highlight areas for improvement.

  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive in spotting inefficiencies.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.

  • A growth mindset —> eager to learn, test new tools, and implement innovations (especially AI-driven solutions).

  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
